But while prescription glasses and sunglasses had already made their way onto the catwalks of the world, one type of eyewear was still being sought in vain: reading glasses.

 It was clear to us: reading glasses deserve their fashionable success! That's why we made it our mission to bring them out of obscurity and give them a new shine with modern designs, a variety of colors, high-quality craftsmanship, and smart functionality.

The Klammeraffe® was born.

 In addition to the variety of over 10 different models and over 40 different colors, the Klammeraffe® impresses with its longer, curved temples. This not only ensures that the glasses fit perfectly, comfortably, and without pressure on any head shape, but also allows for easy hanging around the neck when not in use – no more constant misplacing and definitely a farewell to old-fashioned glasses cords.

 And because good design inspires, our Klammeraffe® family has also grown over the past few years. In addition to reading glasses, our Klammeraffe® is now also available as blue-blocking glasses (with and without prescription), (bifocal) sunglasses (with and without prescription), and prescription glasses.

 Our  company has existed  since 1995.

 As a  family business, we,  Pamela & Peter Langer, have been  managing NEW'S OPTIC  since 2005.

 We are  both state-certified opticians and master opticians and we  put all our heart and soul,  knowledge from our training and  experience   into our company.
